The Nationwide Foreign Language Translation Competition.

Singapore's first competition to involve 6 languages. Each year, hundreds of participants compete to translate literary classics from one of four languages - Spanish, French, German, and Japanese - to both English and Mandarin Chinese.

2022. - We win the Community In-Translation Events Grant (CITEG) for the first time, from the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (then, the Ministry of Communications and Information). Our founder, Loy Xing-Yi, was the first student to do so - at only 15 years of age.

2023. - The first NFLTC is hosted; we are the first competition in Singapore to involve 5 languages: Spanish, French, Japanese, English, and Mandarin Chinese.

2024. - With the MDDI's National Translation Committee's support, we win the CITEG again. NFLTC is expanded to include German, making us Singapore's first competition to involve 6 languages.

2025. - NFLTC's third iteration and first in-person awards ceremony.
